About Self Cleaning Disc Filter
Self Cleaning Disc Filter This filter is made of MS square tube with stainless steel filter media with sturdy MS supporting arrangements. The drive for the suction nozzles is through 0.5 HP gear motor and the suction nozzle is connected to 3 HP high pressure suction fan. The dust removed from the filter is collected in the cyclone compactor / collection bag. Maintaining uniform suction pressure inside the department, ensure better cleaning efficiency and uniform RH and Temperature. Our uniquely designed self cleaning disc filter would help in providing maximum efficiency. It ensures the filter is always in clean condition and uniform suction pressure to maintain throughout the day. Our self cleaning disc filters are designed to minimize the leakage through the filter. The maintenance cost of the filter are almost nil when compared to any other conventional filter used in ventilation system.
Advanced Filtration TechnologyUtilizing a hydraulic suction scan mechanism, the Self Cleaning Disc Filter delivers reliable and consistent filtration with a filtration degree as fine as 25 microns. Its self-cleaning capability means minimal maintenance and reduced downtime, optimizing operational efficiency for demanding environments.
Versatility and CustomizationThis filter accommodates a wide range of flow rates, from 10 to 200 m3/hr, and comes in multiple sizes and connections (BSP/NPT, flanged or threaded, horizontal or vertical mounting). Customizable in diameter and available in black, blue, or red, it fits diverse system requirements.
Durability and Chemical ResistanceConstructed from high-strength polypropylene with a Shore D hardness of 70-75, the filter resists corrosion and withstands harsh chemicals (pH 4-13), making it ideal for varied water qualities encountered in irrigation, water treatment, and industrial applications.
FAQ's of Self Cleaning Disc Filter:
Q: How does the hydraulic suction scan self-cleaning mechanism work in this disc filter?
A: The hydraulic suction scan system periodically sweeps the disc stack, using water drawn through special nozzles to remove trapped particles, ensuring continuous operation without interrupting filtration or requiring manual intervention.
Q: What application areas are suitable for this self-cleaning disc filter?
A: This filter is ideal for water filtration in agricultural irrigation, industrial processing, and municipal water treatment, especially where consistent flow and low maintenance are priorities.
Q: When should I select a filtration degree of 25 microns versus 400 microns?
A: Choose 25 microns for finer particulate filtration, such as in drip irrigation or sensitive industrial processes. Opt for a coarser setting, like 400 microns, if you are targeting larger debris or working with pre-filtered water.
Q: Where can this filter be mounted within a piping system?
A: The disc filter supports both horizontal and vertical mounting, fitting at various points within a system using end or side inlet/outlet connections according to your installation layout.
Q: What benefits does polypropylene (PP) offer for filter construction?
A: Polypropylene provides excellent chemical resistance (pH 4-13), high durability, low thermal conductivity, and corrosion protection, making the filter suitable for aggressive and variable water conditions.
Q: Is this disc filter customizable in size and connection types?
A: Yes, the filter is available in sizes from 1 to 8 inches with customizable diameters, offering BSP or NPT threading, as well as flanged or threaded connections, to suit diverse system requirements.
Q: How does the self-cleaning feature contribute to water and resource savings?
A: The self-cleaning mechanism uses minimal water during the cleaning cycle, reducing overall water consumption and lowering operational costs while maintaining filter performance.
